HIATUS + SOME NEWS

So I know I've been on a hiatus lately. School is a little more difficult than I anticipated. It looks like 16 credits, whether at a public or private university or community college, is a lot to take. I'm taking five classes: Elementary Algebra, English 101, Art History, Photoshop, and I just finished up a one credit class on Fashion Designers. I have my first test in Art History, and I'm a little nervous about it. The class is pretty difficult. I have to memorize the title, artist, and movement of each piece (and spell everything correctly). So we'll see how it goes on Tuesday.
Besides school, I have another little (but sort of big) chunk of news: I applied to Columbia in Chicago today! This week I have to send over some other paperwork, but then I will have officially finished applying. I'm nervous. Of course I want to be accepted, but what if I'm not for some reason? What if they don't want me? Then what do I do? I don't know if I'll be able to stand GRCC for another year. I'm already planning on taking summer classes... but a whole year? It would be too much.
Until then, I am still trying to make and save money babysitting. It's a slow-going process, but I'm saving a good amount of money. It's just really difficult when I want to buy a dress or something, but I know I should save that money instead.
Hopefully, though, my next announcement will help me bring in a little extra cash. I am hoping to open my Etsy Shop by March 1st. I am going to start out selling some cute bracelets I've been making. I hope that I can save all of that money and build my shop up to sell scarves that I've been knitting like a champion. It just seems silly with the "winter" we've been having to list items that probably won't have a chance of selling until next winter.

So, that is my news. I don't have much else to say, but I have about 50 pieces of work to study for my Art History test, some math homework, and a couple of unfinished (well... I haven't even started them) photoshop assignments to do.
